Fast-paced, multi-specialty clinic looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our winning team!

Essential Functions:

• Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Contributes to a physical therapist’s effectiveness by identifying patient care issues.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Helps patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends and monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives.
• Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations and JACHO standards.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading periodicals, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Assists with other rehabilitation-related tasks within the Physical Therapy Clinic.

Equipment Operated: Position requires the use of a multi-line phone, computer, fax machine, copier, tablets, barcode scanner, label printer, electronic signature pad, some medical diagnostic and treatment tools, and personal protective gear.

Required License:

· Current Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant License

· Current BLS card

Experience Required: Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.

· Ability to deescalate high tense situations in a calm and caring manner

· Strong attention to and critical thinking skills

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and listen attentively. Work requires moderate physical exertion. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail and ability to work at a computer.

Working Conditions: Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail and ability to work at a computer. Requires the use of an N-95 mask and half mask respirator.

Work Environment: Work takes place at a single location in a Physical Therapy Department which is part of a multi-specialty clinic. Ability to work in confined spaces and climb stairs required.

Employment at Care Medical Group is contingent on passing a drug test, physical examination, background, and professional reference check.

Immunization Requirements: Immunizations required: Influenza, Hep B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella or a positive titer test, PPD and any additional immunizations determined necessary for the protection of staff and patients. A negative COVID-19 test may be required prior to start date dependent on recent travel history. Care Medical Group will be financially responsible for COVID, titer testing, influenza vaccination and PPD screening if needed.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
