Care New England is Hiring a Research Assistant Near Foster, RI
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, administer and adhere to the research protocol in the acquisition and management of participant information for this research project.
Examples include: coordinating with the recruitment sites and staff, conducting participant interviews, preparing and maintaining study records, and entering study data. Opportunities to participate in manuscripts development and conference presentations and posters will be available.
Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct recruitment of research participants.
Screen potential participants for study eligibility.
Conduct structured diagnostic interviews.
Administer computerized self-report questionnaires.
Train participants to complete mobile app surveys.
Fit participants with wearable biosensor and train on their use.
Monitor compliance of mobile app surveys and wearable biosensors.
Utilize tactics to enhance compliance and retention.
Administer qualitative interviews to research participants.
Enter data and maintain databases.
Support day-to-day clerical operations in support of research.
Support manuscript preparation.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field required.
Minimum One Years' Experience Working In Psychological Research Required.Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
Demonstrated Proficiency In Written Communication Skills Required.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations required.
Must have own transportation, insured auto and valid driver's license and be willing to commute to and from research sites in the state of Rhode Island.
Demonstrated experience with human subjects research with populations characterized by substance use preferred.
Demonstrated familiarity with diagnostic assessments for trauma and alcohol use preferred.
Demonstrated experience with ecological momentary assessment and Demonstrated experience with wearable biosensors preferred.
