Location: Columbus, Ohio (surrounding area)
Requirements of the Volunteer role:
Willing to submit Fingerprints BCI and Background Check
Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage (if personal vehicle is used)
Reliable transportation/ public transportation
Understanding and supportive of hospice philosophy
Compassionate and empathetic characteristics
About the Hospice Volunteer role:
Provide companionship to patients/families
Provide emotional support to patients/families
Performs household chores for patients/families
Report on patient/family status
Assisting office staff with office duties
Maintains confidentiality per Care360 Hospice policies
Participate in IDG meetings
Ask about remote volunteering opportunities

We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers, to provide companionship to our patients, alleviate caregivers in providing moments of respite, engage with bereaved individuals, or support office staff with administrative tasks.
