Qualifications:

• EPA 608 Universal certification and HVAC experience
• Previous experience in apartment maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Reliable means of transportation
• Professional appearance
• Proven ability to be prompt and on time every day
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, as needed
• Follow all confidentiality, fair housing laws, and safety requirements
• Required to pass a comprehensive criminal background check
• Minimum of a high school education

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs and report findings to Maintenance Supervisor
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Possess strong experience in the following tasks:
  • HVAC certification and experience
  • Plumbing: sink/shower/toilet repair, replacing fixtures, unclogging drains (snaking when applicable)
  • Electrical: replacing fixtures and switches, knowledge of proper safety protocol, rewiring when applicable
  • Carpentry: patching holes, replacing doors/locks, hanging cabinetry, light touch-up painting
  • Appliances: help with installation of W&D, stoves (when applicable), installing garbage disposals, small repairs
