MAJOR ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:

1. Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values, company operating principles, Career Success Standards.

2. Assists students in adjusting to Center life to enhance student retention by providing supervision, behavior modification, counseling, and by acting as a positive role model and mentor.

3. Ensures that student needs are met in a timely professional manner with the highest degree of customer service in mind.

4. Adheres to all PRH and CSDC policies and procedures, and the Center Operating Procedures.

5. Prepares reports and forms and documents in CIS Health and Wellness and case notes.

6. Maintains confidentiality but reports significant events or situations immediately through approved channels to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff, and to ensure that required reporting occurs, and that students receive emergency services as needed.

7. Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance to students in the event of injury, illness, or emotional trauma.

8. Ensures equipment and assigned work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with Center, CSD, and DOL standards, including conducting quarterly property counts, submitting property relocation requests, may serve as a property custodian, and submits maintenance requests as needed.

9. Takes and records vital signs.

10. Works with Health Wellness team to conduct daily sick calls.

11. Monitors chronic health care plans.

12. Provides health education and health information during treatment.

13. Promotes a healthy lifestyle for students.

14. Provides first aid or CPR as needed.

15. Administers specified medication as per State Scope of Practice for RNs and Pharmacy Act and annotates time and amount on patient's chart per standing orders. Observes students and report adverse reactions to medication to Health Services Administrator/Manager.

16. Assembles and uses various medical equipment.

17. Responsible for Compliance with Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control procedures

18. Assists in physicals of all new trainees.

19. Completes requisitions for medical supplies as required.

20. Places requests for prescription medications per Physician/PA orders.

21. Maintains Student Health Records and documents all health-related concerns, activities, services in the student's health record.

22. Performs duties of Acting Health and Wellness Manager as needed

23. Performs other duties as assigned.
