Career Team is looking to hire an Outreach Specialist who will be responsible for initiating contact with assigned Customers and encouraging their active engagement with the provided services. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication and organizational skills, along with resilience and an outcome-driven mindset. The Outreach Specialist will be performed under the supervision of the Project Director. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Your Impact on Career TEAM's Success :

  • Initiate contact with assigned Customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Encourage active participation in provider activities and mandated programs
  • Re-engage customers who have discontinued participation and encourage continued engagement
  • Communicate outreach and engagement efforts effectively to Case Managers and other team members
  • Identify and address barriers hindering Customer engagement with the services
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities
  • Collaborate with Case Managers to develop strategies for successful Customer engagement
  • Provide timely updates and reports on outreach and engagement efforts to management
  • Advocate for customers' needs and rights, providing advocacy and support as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures
  • Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
  • Other duties and projects as needed for the success of the program

The Ideal Qualifications for this Position Include:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR Minimum of two (2) years of experience in adult learning, workforce development, career training, or a related employment field
  • Effective and engaging communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills to manage outreach efforts efficiently
  • Resilient and outcome-driven with a focus on customer engagement and program success
  • Prior experience working with populations similar to the District's customers
  • Computer literate with knowledge of relevant software and tools
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment - must have excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners
  • Multilingual or Bilingual preferred
  •  A Valid Driver's License

Salary : $46,000 Salary is commensurate with education and experience

Travel : Position may require local travel up to 15-20% of the time
