NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: ACADEMY OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS CLINICAL MONITOR
LOCATION: Career and Technology Academy
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direction of the school principal, plans and coordinates clinical rotations for level II Academy of Health Professions students. Works with the local healthcare facilities, as well as the Academy of Health Professions instructors, to ensure that the students have a productive learning experience. Supervises students in a variety of school-related settings. Monitors and evaluates student outcomes. Communicates and interacts with students, healthcare professionals, and instructors. Maintains appropriate records and follows required procedures and practices. Monitors the appropriate use and care of equipment and materials. Displays a passion for nursing and communicates the importance of nursing as a profession.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Position requires significant periods of standing and walking and is performed in a healthcare facility. Employees are required to think, concentrate, and interact with others. Employees are expected to come to work regularly and promptly. Employees must be able to work under stress and meet all deadlines.
UNUSUAL DEMANDS: Must be available for a flexible work schedule.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary is $41.00/hr. with an estimated 406 hours of work per school year. Work hours will vary from week to week. If chosen for this position, the candidate is encouraged to enroll in direct deposit.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt.
