Wave Solder and Potting Machine Operator

6 : 45am-3 : 15pm $20-$22hr DOE

Wave Solder :

• Set up, program, and operate production machinery in the Wave Solder / Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Read and interpret visual aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
• Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured, ensuring accuracy in work
• Inspect PCBs for solder quality and cleanliness to ensure that process is compliant
• Provide proper Maintenance for all Manufacturing equipment and update records as needed
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering in the repair and upkeep of machinery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Potting :

• Operate and set-up a machine to manufacture a resin material that protects Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
• Potting of electronic assemblies
• Prepare potting compound when the machine is running low
• Inspect potted assemblies for curing and for porosity
• Perform daily and weekly basic maintenance recommended by manufacturer procedure
