We are currently looking for an Administrative / Receptionist Assistant for a contract position with the Department of Justice / United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) located in Shreveport, Louisiana.

This is initially for a 1-year contract with 3 additional optional years (for a total of 4 years) with the USAO. Candidates must be U.

S. Citizens and be able to clear an extensive background check / clearance investigation by the Department of Justice.

Experience : At a minimum, candidates must have a m inimum of 1 year of administrative / receptionist experience in a professional office environment (experience working in the legal industry is highly desirable).

Education : At a minimum , candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (any post-secondary education is preferred).

Skills : The right candidate will have s olid organizational skills; top-notch time management skills; a streamlined and polished communication style (both oral and written);

meticulous attention to detail; and the ability to remain calm and poised at all times. Candidates must be skilled in the Microsoft Office suite, document management, and data entry.

The ability to interact with the public is essential.

Additionally : Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally and with discretion. Must be able to lift item up to 50 pounds on occasion.

This is a full time / 40 hours per week position. Candidates will be working onsite each day (telework is not available for this role).
