The Unconventional is seeking an All Source Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will leverage their background and in open source intelligence (OSINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and/or publicly available information (PAI) to inform our team about end user requirements. You'll explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to support a system for use by the Intelligence Community.
As an expert in operations, intelligence, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and collections, you will enhance the client mission, by using available web and social media content to construct new OSINT, GEOINT, HUMINT and PAI tradecraft documents, workflows, and development of systems integration across multiple intelligence disciplines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the establishment of governance policies and align/build data relationships to business processes
Interview business users to extract requirements fulfilling upon both strategic and tactical information needs
Document requirement specifications and any related designs.
Execute project assignments to support overall objectives of the project plan; analyze and resolve technical problems
Apply expertise in operations, intelligence, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and collections to enhance the client mission
Required Skills
Required clearance: Top Secret/SCI
Knowledge of Python or R, customize tools for select acquisition of bulk PAI data, and use internet technologies and observables, including process automation.
Knowledge of and experience with monitoring, metrics collection, and reporting tools.
Experience with large enterprise applications
Basic knowledge of database management systems
Knowledge of national and service-specific OSINT policy and regulations
Ability to conduct independent analysis to support mission requirements and use enhanced search procedures, and tools to support the usage of PAI
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and tradecraft standards to deliver analytic findings in textual form, graphic annotation, or other formats as directed by the government customer, and develop and present briefings to support customer requirements
Required Experience
MA or MS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, Linguistics, Business, Library Science, or a related research field preferred
Experience utilizing commercially available unclassified analysis toolsets including but not limited to: Windward, Anomaly Six, and Sayari
Experience with PAI analytic principals
Experience with advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools
Knowledge of other intelligence disciplines, including signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)
