Registered Nurse - RN – Adult Psych
CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire experienced Registered Nurses for the geriatric psychiatric unit at a hospital in Prattville, AL. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of recent behavioral health/psych experience, medsurg experience, have a strong focus on patient care, and feel confident in evaluations and working with a multi-disciplinary team. Hourly compensation: $49

JOB DETAILS:
Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
Foster a caring environment that respects patient's dignity,
Maintain a high quality of nursing care for individuals with psychiatric and mental health illnesses,
Deliver and evaluate all patient care provided
Take the lead role in case of a medical or psychiatric emergency and therapeutically intervene and de-escalate patients
Remain flexible to work a variable schedule. Working every other weekend is required
Continually assesses & reassesses the patient’s medical & psychiatric status & changing needs
LICENSURE CREDENTIALS REQUIRED FOR REGISTERED NURSES:
1 year of behavioral health/psych experience.
MedSurg experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Alabama or multistate RN license
