MORE ABOUT THE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this School Psychologistopportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and social-emotional functioning
2. Interpret assessment results to inform educational planning and interventions
3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored plans that address students' unique strengths and challenges
4. Conduct functional behavioral assessments to understand the factors influencing students' behavior
5. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors and promote positive alternatives
6. Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or critical incidents affecting students, staff, or the school community
7. Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address academic and behavioral concerns
8. Communicate with parents to provide information on assessments, interventions, and available resources

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST:

1. School Psychologist certification from an accredited program
2. Expected to have a thorough knowledge of Federal and State Psychologist regulations
3. Successful completion of Licensing Examination
4. 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years
5. School district experience preferred
