DescriptionThis is a full-time, direct hire position on our first shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, plus overtime when business warrant, during the week and/or on Saturdays.
The essential duties of the Class A Driver position include, but are not limited to:
- Daily fleet vehicle pre and post trip inspection.
- Adherence to Carefree’s FMCSA program requirements.
- Driving and delivery of products to customer locations within a 200 mile radius.
- Loading and unloading of goods to/from fleet vehicles.
- Fueling of the company fleet vehicles.
- Verification of both paperwork (packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) and goods delivered.
- Assist in the picking and preparation of out shop goods and other products.
- Work to consolidate, clean, etc. Elkhart Warehouse when available.
- Forklift certification will be required for this position.

- Valid Class A Certification
- Previous Class A driving experience required, warehouse experience preferred
- Proven attendance and work record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to present Carefree positively in the community and at customer facilities
- Ability to be flexible and work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
