Careington International Corporation is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Frisco, TX

You'll be required to work three days in the office located in Frisco, TX, and two days from home.

A Graphic Designer presence is essential to the growth and awareness of Careington, its affiliate companies and its brands, as well as client programs. This presence is a key part of effectively building brand awareness and consumer loyalty, through corporate advertising and marketing initiatives.

The Graphic Designer is a full-time position that will work under the direction of the Print Design Manager and work within the Print Design team. This position will apply their strategic creative skills to help support the Marketing department by designing a variety of resources, including corporate print materials, presentation decks, special company projects and marketing materials.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide creative input to Marketing and other stakeholders on projects
  • Brainstorm and develop compelling and creative visual concepts for client and in-house marketing collateral. Seek opportunities to push and elevate Careington’s brands while maintaining their integrity and cohesiveness.
  • Design and format print and digital marketing materials, including booklets, brochures, fliers, icons, logos, web graphics, digital advertisements and other marketing collateral.
  • Produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, managing time to meet both short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Review layouts for consistency of look and feel and to ensure they meet company brand standards.
  • Coordinate with the print design and fulfillment teams on the production and delivery of print materials.
  • Research Careington, its affiliate companies and the relevant industries to help designs remain competitive and effective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Art or Design
  • 2 years experience or qualified portfolio preferred 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions along with typography and layout skills
  • Experience executing projects from concept to completion
  • Acute attention to detail and adaptive eye for design
  • Ability to adapt designs to a variety of mediums and platforms
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to help execute marketing projects
  • Possessing a growth mindset and openness to receiving and applying feedback from peers and clients
  • Self-driven, inspired, motivated and flexible ― someone who takes pride in their work but understands the need to meet client goals and expectations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Print production knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Canva preferred
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
