Job Summary:

Caremed - Amelia is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team of healthcare professionals. This part-time, hourly position will involve providing personal care and assistance to patients in Amelia County and surrounding counties. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping patients maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.This position is suitable for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and can work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to patients, including bathing dressing, and feeding
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication reminders
• Observe and report any changes in patients’ health or behaviors to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with patient and their families, as well as healthcare team members
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of Caremed and follow the care plan provided for each patient

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a PCA, NA, or CNA
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care 
• Flexibility to work day, evening, or weekend shifts as needed
