Pay Rate: $18 - 19 / hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Treatment Areas: Set up treatment areas according to prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Provide information and answer questions to help patients feel at ease.
- Assist with Treatments: Apply and remove hot packs, cold packs, and electrical modalities under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure the working environment is clean and safe by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Manage Supplies: Monitor and maintain therapy supplies, including ordering and verifying receipt of new stock.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the physical therapy team.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Listening Skills: Demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions and providing relevant information.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and solve problems.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
