Role Description
This is a full-time Medicare Follow Up Specialist role at CarePoint Health System. The Medicare Follow Up Specialist will be responsible for daily follow-up and coordination of patient care related to Medicare patients. This includes interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure that all necessary documentation and billing information is collected and processed accurately. The role is a hybrid role, with some work being performed on-site at the CarePoint Health System location in Jersey City, NJ, and some work being performed remotely.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines
- Experience in healthcare billing and coding
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with insurance verification and claims management
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred)
