Caresoft is Hiring a Payroll Tax Manager Near New York, NY
Job Details
Duration: 6 Months
Location: New York NY (Hybrid)
Partner with external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely US federal, state and local tax return filings, estimates or extensions for each period as needed.
Coordinate and manage any related W2s that may be required
Manage and oversee the year end tax related activities
Manage and maintain the internal ecosystem of US tax controls, systems and processes to ensure ongoing compliance in each jurisdiction.
Manage various ongoing audits through to completion and suggestion and implement any new controls as a result of any completed audits.
Manage and assist with all US tax multi state allocations related to business travel.
Responsible for standard tax reporting, including but not limited to, pulling quarterly and annual tax filings from vendor website, SUI rate notices from UI vendor, quarterly and annual standard reports, internal business partner (IBP) requests and other reports as requested
Qualifications:
Experience in Payroll Processing, Project Management, and Employment tax required
Payroll certification highly preferred
Knowledge and experience with employment/withholding taxes highly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different internal teams and vendors.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Strong analytical skills that enable candidate to recognize and resolve problems
