CareSource is Hiring a Summer Internship 2025 - Actuary - R7901 Near Dayton, OH

Job SummaryThe CareSource Summer Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment.
Essential Functions
  • In depth actuarial project with presentation to CareSource Senior Leaders
  • Work on forecasting, IBNR, rate filings, and other actuarial functions related to assigned team
  • Specific activities will vary by assignment
  • Assist with general office tasks
  • Provide support on special projects and initiatives
  • Gather and organize data
  • Assist with research, analysis and reporting
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Perform any other job duties as requested
Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Current junior or senior college / university undergraduate or graduate student in accredited degree program
Competencies, Knowledge And Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Effective listening and critical thinking skills
  • Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail

Compensation Range$34,500.00 - $55,100.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
