This position is in Cargill's protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. Job Purpose and Impact The Transportation Billing Clerk will provide administrative assistance to the team that coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations. In this role, you will receive documentation and data for billing purposes and perform clerical data entry utilizing SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Key Accountabilities
Prepare reports from existing data using preformatted system generated reporting tools, spreadsheets, and databases
Perform administrative or clerical duties to support the shipping process
Provide dispatch customer service support for inbound and outbound carriers
Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
Complete all USDA regulatory documents for Bill of Lading (BOL) exports, interacting directly with UDSA personnel
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Preferred Qualifications
Basic computer and typing skills
Experience utilizing SAP and/or Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to various stakeholders
