Caring Place Healthcare Group is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join our team! This position will assist HR duties between our Glendale Place Nursing & Rehab center and Sanctuary Pointe Nursing & Rehab. The HumanResource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to supporteffective and efficient operations of the company's human resource department.
MAJORDUTIES
•Maintainsaccurate and up-to-date human resource files, records and documentation
•Answersfrequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standardpolicies, benefits, hiring process; refers more complex questions toappropriate senior-level HR
•Maintainsthe integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
•Performsperiodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documentsare collected and filed appropriately
•Providesclerical support to HR Manager
•Assistwith payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions,fixing processing errors, and distribution of checks
•Conductor assist with new hire orientation
•Assistsin planning and execution of special events such as benefit enrollment,organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties andretirement celebrations
•Performsother duties as assigned
SKILLS
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to managesensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism
•Excellent organizational skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payrollmanagement, HRIS, and similar computer applications
•High School Diploma or Equivalent

•Ability to sit for extended periods of time
•Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
