DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Responsible for maintaining the payroll system, processing biweekly payroll including employee wage garnishments, personnel and benefits file, orientation preparation, maintaining and updating employment and benefits coverage and verification. Timely input of employee information changes including new hires and terminations into the payroll system. Filing and maintaining files including personnel, unemployment, immigration, I-9s, emergency contact, and benefits. Ensure accuracy of hours and wages paid. Ensure employee time punch are correct on the system. Transmit to the payroll service by the required deadlines to ensure employees are paid on schedule. Issue manual payroll check(s) through the system as authorized. Maintain employee time sheet files and other payroll files. Stay current with all wage and hour laws and processes payroll within those guidelines. Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· College degree preferred.

· 1 years of ADP payroll or human resources experience required.

· 1 years of benefits experience preferred but not required.

· Basic Excel knowledge and Microsoft applications.

· Must be detail oriented, organized, ability to multi task, strong verbal communication and team-work abilities.

· Demonstrated good judgment and confidentiality.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.

· Flexibility and adaptability to change.

· This is NOT a WFH/Remote Role.
