**Job Description**

**JOB SUMMARY:**

The Tray Runner position is responsible for the delivery and pick-up of patient trays from patient units. This position is responsible for daily floor stock inventory inside unit nourishment rooms.

ANSI Accredited Food Handler Certification within 30 days.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

* Re-stock food and small wares supplies according to the established par levels.

* Deliver or serve patient/guest meal trays in a timely manner.

* Keep production preparation areas clean and sanitary using the established Public Health District standards.

* Follow guidelines for food handling and sanitation and ensure compliance.

* Prepares food and beverage requests in a timely and accurate manner.

* Complete dish and ware washing duties as assigned.

* Maintain dish room, ware washing area and tray assembly area in a clean and sanitary manner.
