- Oversee the Plant Distribution Crib’s functionalities, including
- Perform Analyses on the stock levels of parts to identify
- Set reorder points to ensure adequate stock
- Execute inventory cycle counts
- Prepare and manage the budget for the tool distribution crib
- Provide forecasts with long lead times to compensate for
- Identify critical stock items and set up special systems to
- Ensure parts and direct materials are in place to maintain
- Effectively organize and arrange the materials in the crib for
- Directly coordinate the work schedule for Crib employees to
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to ensure
plant
- Assist management with budget projections regarding
- Obtain quotes, select suppliers and place and monitor Crib
- Interface with Maintenance and Production Teams to
- Perform essential Buyer functions by purchasing non-stock
- Effective scheduling of staff with an aptitude to adjust
- Leadership initiative and drive with ability to motivate and
- Ability to execute solutions in an effective, professional
- Ability to analyze data pertaining to stock, inventory,
- Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office
- Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis
- Ability to lead using the Servant Leadership Model
- Ability and willingness to uphold the Carlex Values of
Trust
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Inventory Management,
Years of Experience:
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- 5 years of stock management experience
- 5 years Purchasing experience or equivalent Program
control
- 5 years of Maintenance, Facilities, Engineering, and
Other Requirements:
- Maximo / EAM experience preferred
- Strong union contract background a plus
- Process background in critical stocking, order Min/Max,
- Must be willing and able to work all available shifts
- Valid driver’s license required for business travel
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be
weekends and holidays
