Job Description

We are looking for Machine Operator to join our team in Tooele, Utah. We have an immediate opening on 3rd Shift for a full-time Machine Operator.

This position is responsible for responsible for operation of equipment used in the production of PolyIso insulation products.

Employee will be used to fill in on other jobs in plant as required.

Primary responsibilities include :

• Set up, operation and upkeep of equipment saws, foam head, compounding equipment
• Operate and troubleshoot dust collection and robotic stacking equipment
• Monitor operation for deviations and communicate to appropriate personnel
• Ensure quality measurements (thickness, squareness, width and length) are within specification
• Assist as needed with all steps of the production process to ensure the safe and timely production of quality material
• Participate in the plant’s continuous improvement process

Requirements

Qualifications include :

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior machine operator experience required
• Six months prior experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Math skills and capability to calculate square footage and batch sizes
• Ability to follow processing specifications and quality standards
• Ability to use measurement devices such as gauges and tape measures
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8-to-12-hour days
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, up to 6 days per week during busy season
• Experience with driving a forklift
