Purpose

As the leader of a companywide business transformation, the Chief Transformation Officer will report to the CEO and lead Transformation Office to accelerate, optimize and deliver the enterprise priorities that will transform the company.

Job Description

• Overall
  1. Lead the Transformation Office (TO) to accelerate, optimize and deliver the enterprise priorities that will transform the company
  2. Provide day-to-day management of TO and its programs
  3. Collaborate with other ELT members and workstreams leads to deliver transformation outcomes
  4. Coach workstream and initiative leads in planning and timely execution
  5. Proactively identify interdependencies and deblock obstacles
  6. Spread target culture across org

• Financial 
  1. Support delivery of business outcomes associated with transformation projects
  2. Liaise with Finance to ensure quality pipeline of program projects and initiatives

• People
  1. Manage, grow and develop TO team members
  2. Ensure appropriate onboarding and training of new members (including beyond TO) in target culture, principals, processes, tools
  3. Work with other TO stakeholders (Finance / Reporting, Communications, etc.) in coordinated and collaborative fashion
  4. Bring out the best in people in terms of motivation, efficiency and performance
  5. Drive accountability through adherence to timelines and reporting best practices 
  6. Proactively involve core stakeholders in key decisions to understand and take into consideration different expectations

• Process
  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the TO and facilitate its success
  2. Lead and facilitate TO Workstream and Workstream Leader meetings, including bi-weekly steering committee meetings
  3. Allocate TO resources to deliver projects
  4. Facilitate identification and build of required / new capabilities for transformation (organizational health and ways of working initiatives)
  5. Drive executional discipline through commitment to transformation best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in business, marketing, accounting, analytics, finance or other relevant field
• 10 years industry experience in strategy or business operations
• Ability to think beyond process to develop results-oriented solutions
• Knowledge of trends and challenges in finishing equipment industry
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, manage expectations, and create alignment towards common goals 
• Ability to think strategically and drive executional excellence
• Established collaborator who can quickly help facilitate unblocking organizational constraints
• Ability to manage and facilitate meetings, driving stakeholders to positive outcomes
• Experience holding people accountable to demanding executional goals
• Desire to develop people and grow their capabilities
• Ability to collaborate and build networks across countries and functions
• Ability to challenge, influence and motivate team to effectively implement change
