- Responsible for adjusting, setting, and operating Wave Solder and Selective Solder machines per job order.
- Setup responsibilities include but not limited to board recipe preheat temperature, conveyor speed, wave height, wave machine repeatability and maintenance.
- Inspects in-process parts to ensure quality meets requirements and identifies quality issues.
- Monitor circuit boards through the entire process.
- Load proper parts into machine and filling solder pot.
- Follow ESD guidelines and principles.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Previous experience operating and setting up Wave Solder and Selective Solder machines.
- Basic reading, writing skills required.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and hand-tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and correct simple mechanical problems.
- Knowledge of appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 13485, ESD, SPC & IPC-A-610
- Knowledge of circuit board assembly.
