SUMMARY OF POSITION

Every server’s primary duty is to ensure hospitality to guests by providing friendly, attentive service in a timely manner to create an exceptional dining experience.

SERVER REQUIREMENTS

At least 18 years of age

Have a current valid ABC serving permit

Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods

Demonstrate competency in serving procedures

Have knowledge of food and beverage products (including alcohol)

Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs

Maintain a professional relationship with all employees and guests

Maintain a clean, organized, stocked and safe work environment

Report to work on time, in uniform and be willing to work

Assume 100% responsibility for all money transactions at every table

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

JOB DUTIES

Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients (includes alcohol)

Greet guest in a timely manner, introduce yourself and provide information about specials

Obtain orders from guest, ensure accuracy and deliver food

Inform manager of any guest related issues

Perform side work throughout shift

Stock items and inform manager/chef before running out of stock

Pre-bus tables after every course

Bus, clean and reset tables after guests depart

Maintain a clean restaurant/hotel at all times

Ensure great customer service

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $4.25 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 30 per week
