Position Title: Bartender

Reports To: Bar Manager
Department: Front of House- Bar
Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional bar service and creating a memorable guest experience. The Bartender will prepare and serve beverages following established recipes and procedures while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The Bartender will maintain a clean and organized bar area and work collaboratively with the FOH and kitchen teams.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional guest service to ensure a memorable bar experience for guests.
·
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages following established recipes and procedures.
·
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including properly handling alcoholic beverages.
·
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, performing opening and closing duties and performing cleaning tasks as required.
·
Communicate effectively with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
·
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
·
Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the bar menu, beer, wine, and daily specials.
·
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
·
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
·
High school diploma or equivalent required.
·
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a bartender in a fine dining establishment or similar setting.
·
Knowledge of wine and beverage service preferred.
Work Environment:
·
The environment requires the team member to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
·
Required to work weekends and irregular hours.
·
Requires working under stressful conditions.
·
Must be able to work safely in a noisy area.
Physical Requirements:
·
Must be physically able to stand for up to 8 hours a day.
·
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
·
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
·
Requires maintenance of the bar, changing kegs, and other additional tasks.
