Carolina Friends Durham Early School is seeking a Support and Extended Day Teacher to join our staff in August 2024. This 75% benefits-eligible position will cover the breaks and planning time of the DES staff and oversee the Extended Day program with 10-12 children ages three through six, along with an assistant teacher. The daily hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Our Extended Day program is particularly inspired by the Quaker tenet of simplicity and allows for an easeful, outdoor, play-based afternoon for young children in the midst of our busy world.
