Full-Time Floating Nurse Position at Carolina Health Centers Inc.

- Serving Greenwood, Saluda, Abbeville, McCormick, Edgefield, Newberry, and Laurens counties.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nurse education program, considering RN based on company needs.
- Licensure and Credentials: Licensed as LPN/RN in South Carolina, BCLS certification.
- Work Experience: Experience preferred, new graduates will be trained.
- Active member of patient care team by identifying and reporting patient needs.
- Conducts pre-visit planning, prepares patients for examination, assesses vital signs, performs routine lab procedures, assists in examinations and procedures, administers injections, initiates and monitors IV fluids, maintains patient documentation, assists in care management, follows standing orders, maintains supplies/equipment, sterilizes instruments, maintains clean environment, manages medications, triages patient communications, participates in professional development, complies with HIPAA regulations, updates clinical skills, treats patients and staff with respect.
- Skills in communication, medication dosage calculation, computer proficiency, relationship building, HIPAA knowledge, stress management, and various clinical procedures.
- Physical Abilities: Stand for extended periods, handle various physical tasks, full body motion, operate equipment, lift patients using proper techniques, normal hearing and eyesight.
