Accounting Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be proficient in various financial tasks. Duties:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support payroll processing activities
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance
- Contribute to accrual accounting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams for financial data collection and reporting

-Onboard New Hires: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.

-Manage Employee Benefits and Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in accounting, business administration, or HR (or equivalent experience).

- Prior experience in corporate accounting or public accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
- Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliation techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in relevant accounting software applications

-Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) (Training Available). o Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
