The Manager of FP&A will be responsible for developing the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and operational performance analysis/metrics. The Manager of FP&A also performs monthly and quarterly analysis of financial results to support business decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Finance, Product Management, and Operations in developing detailed and accurate financial projections for periodic forecasts and annual budgets
• Define the planning process, create templates, and identify milestone timelines to ensure all planning and reporting deadlines are achieved
• Accountable for providing detailed projections and supporting assumptions for Power Point presentations to the corporate headquarters
• Analyze and interpret variance fluctuations between actual, budget, forecast, and prior year amounts, focusing on developing business trends and their implications
• Compile and assist in the development and reporting of KPI’s to effectively align strategic initiatives within the business.
• Provide management with tools needed to be both proactive and reactive to achieve business goals
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including data compilation & analysis
• Implement best practices as used throughout the global organization to ensure local practices are best in class
• Create and enhance financial models to support the analysis of complex business and accounting issues.
• Recommend and help implement cost containment / reduction strategies & efficiencies.
• Operate as expert for capital authorization and resource allocation
• Coordinate activities with the corporate office, ensuring requirements are understood and included in any global initiatives, policies and/or procedures
• Perform special studies, comparative benchmarking, one-off analysis, and other special projects, as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of budgeting and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
