Job Summary:

Carolina Village, Inc. is a Life Plan Community (Continuing Care Retirement Community) that is proud to be a non-profit organization with a passion for delivering superior care for seniors within a beautiful, energetic community.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge and use of hand & power tools (Required)

• Basic knowledge of appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc. (Required)

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Supports fellow team members and is an example of the team concept.

• Exemplifies excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.

Licensure

• North Carolina Driver’s License (Required)

• CPO preferred.

• Any additional job-related licenses or certificates

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift tools, building materials, etc., which weigh up to 50 lbs. constantly, 50-75 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally.

• Ability to work in unusual or extreme elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

• Ability to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.

• Ability to work safely from a ladder and follow OSHA requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
