We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy oral surgery practice. The Office Manager will ensure smooth administrative, financial, and operational workflows while providing excellent patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Operations:
- Oversee front desk operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient communication.
- Implement and optimize office policies, procedures, and workflows for efficiency.
- Coordinate office maintenance, supplies, and vendor relationships.
Patient Experience:
- Ensure patients receive high-quality care and service throughout their visit.
- Address patient complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Oversee treatment plan presentations and patient financial arrangements.
Financial Management:
- Monitor practice budgets, expenses, and financial goals.
- Prepare financial and operational reports for practice leadership.
Staff Leadership:
- Supervise and train administrative staff, ensuring optimal performance.
- Create and manage staff schedules to align with practice needs.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and facilitate team meetings.
Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping standards are met.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing a dental or oral surgery practice.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with dental/oral surgery software
- Knowledge of insurance billing, coding, and collections.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly in email communication and scheduling.
- Friendly, professional, and highly organized with a commitment to excellent customer service.
