Job Duties
- Plan and implement appropriate early childhood education experiences
- Gear the program to the needs of the individual children with concern for their interests, special talents, individual style, and pace of learning.
- Supervise all activities to ensure safety.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with city and state regulations governing Childcare programs.
- Create and implement educational programs that stimulate learning and social growth in children.
- Support student success by creating an optimum learning environment.
- Model employability skills and demonstrate professionalism.
- Develop cooperative work relationships with other faculty and staff.
Preferred
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an accredited college or university
- NC Early Childhood Credentials
- Medical Report, TB screening (needs to be completed before the first day of work)
- SID training (within two months of employment)
- At least one year of related job experience in a licensed childcare facility.
