Caron of Florida, Inc.

**Position Title:** Housekeeper CR

**Department**: Environmental Services

**Reports To:** Maintenance Supervisor

**Effective Date:** 1/17/22

**Purpose**: To plan and implement a healthy, safe and attractive environment for staff, visitors and patients of Caron Renaissance facilities.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Responsible for maintaining inventory on all apartment accessories, kitchen utensils, cookware and linens in apartments and surplus stockroom

- Ensures that all assigned areas meet standards of cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, cleaning ovens, stovetops, refrigerators, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

- Executes work orders to perform required housekeeping and laundry services/

- Reports all potential hazards, property damage or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Department to ensure a safe environment.

- Reports all clinical concern in the residences to the Director of support Services and/or Clinical Team to ensure patient quality of care.

- Must be able to stoop, bend, push and pull

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

- Must be able to use step and extension ladders not to exceed 5 feet

**EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:**

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Must produce and maintain a valid drivers license in accordance with Driving Standards Policy

- Must meet minimum requirements on Motor Vehicle Reports in accordance with Driving Standards Policy

- High school diploma or the equivalent preferred

- If in recovery, 2 years continuous sobriety is preferred

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

- Must be able to demonstrate professional communication skills to include the ability to interact and work together with co-workers, patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

- Ability to follow written or verbal directions

- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment required.

**COMPETENCIES / MEASUREMENTS:**

- Must be able to complete daily tasks on a timely basis. Measured by observation and completion of assigned tasks.

- Ability to meet standards set by CR leadership as it pertains to patient satisfaction. This will be measured patient satisfaction surveys.

- Ability to follow through with requests as directed by the Supervisor. This will be measured by work orders and observation.

- Ability to interact with coworkers, patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. This will be measured by observation.
