Overview

The Rooms Division Manager oversees all aspects of the Front Office and Housekeeping Departments, ensuring the hotel is exceeding guest expectations and profitability goals in a fast paced resort market. The ideal candidate will be able to handle problems quickly and efficiently, assuring that standards are met and guests and associates are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• This position directly supervises the Executive Housekeeper and Front Office Manager implementing high standards of quality and service, ensuring their compliance.
• Must demonstrate ability to motivate others by thorough job knowledge, maintaining high standards and willingness to accept responsibility.
• Closely monitors and controls departmental expense including labor, supplies and equipment.
• Oversees and maintains a comprehensive departmental training program for all hourly associates.
• Makes sure that safety and security procedures are followed and the standards met as specified.
• Works closely with other departments to ensure a high level of quality and guest satisfaction.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years management experience, preferably in rooms.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations.
• A commitment to onboard training with consistent follow up programs.
• The ability to resolve guest, supervisor and associate conflicts and issues.
• Maintain positive guest relations and promote hospitality.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
