Carpenter & Zuckerman seeks an experienced Operations Manager based in our Beverly Hills headquarters.

The Manager oversees a wide range of activities with involvement in all phases of administration, personnel, facilities, and business systems at multiple locations in Southern California and the State of Washington.

Key Responsibilities include:

Facilities Management:

• Office / Building repair and maintenance
• Assists in development, organization, and facility logistics for new office acquisitions and stakeholder projects
• Manages new office build-outs, tenant improvement plans, and upgrades for all locations
• Identifies local ordinances and business licensing requirements for new space acquisitions
• Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk
• Manages janitorial staff and contractors.

General Business Operations:

• Coordinates with IT for equipment allocation and maintenance
• Maintains the asset management system and reports findings to relevant departments
• Develop operational procedures for new employees including their office setup and orientation materials
• Coordinates the orientation and new hire process with the HR Department

Carpenter & Zuckerman has multiple offices throughout Southern California and the State of Washington. The Operations Manager will travel between these sites and ensure that all offices comply with federal and state regulations. Travel will account for up to 10% of the employee's time.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in operations management
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) not required but preferred.
