The HR Generalist-HRIS is responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. This role will also support Payroll and Benefits administration as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues (Vantage and RM), providing technical support to HR team and associates; submit HCM tickets to escalate issues that can’t be resolved internally.
  • Develop and generate reports to include but not limited to weekly/monthly headcount, monthly non-payroll temps, service awards, Motus and other reports as requested.
  • Support HRIS integrations by collaborating with HCM & IT to implement system enhancements.
  • Serve as point of contact for service awards; validate associate anniversaries and place order with vendor, respond to inquiries from HR team.
  • Prepare and upload monthly AwardCo file; respond to AwardCo inquiries from HR team and associates; monitor budgets and adjust as needed.
  • Participate in internal & external audits; maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Download and review weekly 401(k) files; follow-up on any discrepancies found.
  • Serve as point of contact for Retensa; respond to user inquiries, prepare reports, work with vendor on platform updates.
  • Collect and analyzes data to improve HRIS performance and metrics.
  • Create training materials and support training of HR team members.
  • Stay current on HR laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Partner with other HR team members to drive HR initiatives and programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of associate information.
RequirementsRequired Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
Overall Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in HRIS Management or HR Generalist functions.
  • Experience with HRIS Systems such as ADP, Workday or similar platform.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites.
