At Carrols, a job is never just a job. It’s a career. We are excited to search and bring on a new team member in our Construction department and we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator, Construction to join our team.

The Construction Procurement Coordinator reports to the Procurement Manager to handle construction equipment orders, release work orders, purchase orders and working within the team for scheduling equipment delivers tracking of orders etc.

The Construction Procurement Coordinator also handles repair & maintenance requisitions by working with Construction Managers and Operations to release work orders to the maintenance contractors. 

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding timing of the required equipment orders based on a weekly call with the construction team.
  • Ensuring that contractors submit COI and W-9 as necessary to setup the vendor in Carrols accounting system.
  • Reviewing the scope of work with the construction staff and updating contractor work order/contracts as required.
  • Identify contactor payables and forwarding to Finance for payment.
  • Will be trained on Carrols BK restaurant equipment including workflow process.
  • Join a weekly call with the entire construction and real estate staff to understand timing of the upcoming Remodels, R&R and Offset Projects.
  • Follow-up and communicate weekly scheduled equipment delivery date.
  • Possess general knowledge of timelines of each Carrols construction projects.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication between Sr. Staff, Procurement Mgr., Permitting Manager and CM’s to confirm equipment to be procured.
  • Possess general knowledge and status of owner contract, subcontracts and purchase orders. 

Experience & Education:

  • Prior construction restaurant procurement experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in the areas of budgeting/cost control, financial reporting, interpersonal skills, with general knowledge of Remodel and New Build construction.
