CARsgen Therapeutics Corpora is Hiring a Maintenance Technician II Near Durham, NC
- Prioritize and coordinate the uptime of process, facility, and analytical equipment at the CARSgen GMP manufacturing facility.
- Manage his/her schedule and external suppliers to reliably support facility/utility operations and production systems.
- Become proficient in the use of the CMMS for maintenance operations.
- Perform Daily walk-through documenting and correcting any issues/concerns.
- Respond to afterhours outages if needed.
- Associate degree in Science or Engineering with 2 years of experience of maintaining a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Experience maintaining supportive facility & utility equipment in a GMP regulated facility.
- Experience with BMS (Building Management System)
- Experience with critical utility systems, clean air, pharmaceutical gasses, classified HVAC systems preferred.
- Experience working in a cleanroom or GMP/regulated manufacturing environment.
- Analytical and technical skills to work through and troubleshoot HVAC, Boiler, Chiller, and Compressed air systems. Liquid nitrogen systems a plus.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOP) and equipment forms/logbooks for the department.
- Experience working within a CMMS (Blue Mountain, SAP, Maximo, etc.) and managing PM/Corrective orders and associated documentation.
- Experience handling Deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls for equipment within a QMS framework desired.
- Knowledge of an EMS (Environmental Monitoring System) desired.
- Ability to support internal and external audits.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to perform various tasks and ability to prioritize based on business needs.
- Ability to thoroughly review controlled documentation for clarity and traceability.
