Title: Cashier Trainer
Classification: Non-Exempt
Cashier Trainer is responsible for providing new and existing cashiers with thorough training in accordance with Vallarta Supermarkets Cashier Training Program. Monitors and ensure cashiers follow all cashiering policies and procedures. Ability to identify and knowledgeable of all produce items and corresponding codes. Monitors and ensures cashier are able to identify and accurately record produce codes. Communicates cashier performance observations to Store Directors. Also responsible for smiling and greeting all customers while delivering extraordinary customer service and responds to customers’ requests in locating products, to meet the goals and objectives of the department.

Must have ability to identify various produce items and correlate corresponding produce codes.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
Required experience:

• 6 months of cashiering experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
