PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Administrative Assistant 2 (AA2) is a critical member of the Donor Center and Mobile Collections teams. This position provides a full range of administrative support, in a professional and timely manner, to all Donor Center/Mobile team members and personalized administrative support to the Director of Donor Services - Collections Operations (DDSCO). The AA2 works with the DDSCO on a wide range of matters, where strict confidentiality is expected. The AA2 should be passionate about Collection practices and procedures and helping to create a culture to champion Carter BloodCare (CBC) Core Values.
Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours; Overtime may occasionally be required.
EDUCATION
· High School Diploma
· Associate’s Degree, preferred
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or other senior-level Administrative Assistant, preferably in a medical type office
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Excellent organizational skills, where detail is a priority
· Ability to demonstrate the effective management of multiple projects, meet deadlines, use time efficiently, and prioritize work, with strong attention to detail
· Ability to work and act independently
· Ability to utilize basic mathematical skills to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to prepare/understand reports and trends
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbal and written)
· Ability to work closely and harmoniously with Carter BloodCare’s management team and exhibit exceptional internal/external customer service skills
· Ability to make appropriate decisions based on available information; requires attention to details, maintain focus, and direction; Ability to demonstrate flexibility as conditions warrant
· Advanced knowledge of document development (e.g., correspondence, spreadsheets, forms, reports), Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and other software, as required.
· Exhibits initiative, discretion, and professionalism (e.g., dress, skill)
