Job Description
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in managing accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage the full-cycle accounts payable functions, including coding, batching, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Maintain vendor files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assist in month-end closing.
- Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
