Automotive Technician

Carter Acura is looking to add a Technician to our award-winning service team! Our service team won the Elite Service Award for 2023 and is the only NSX-certified shop in the state. Our shop has state-of-the-art equipment with built-in toolboxes, new alignment racks and tire machines, and a brand new locker room. Experience is required, ASE certifications are preferred but not required. The schedule is for full-time, 4 days a week, 10-hour days.
Pay is flat rate, $25 - $40 depending on experience and certifications. Bonus structure based on production up to an extra $4.50 per hour. Tools are required.

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Acura/Honda experience required
- ASE certifications are preferred
- Tools are required
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Strong automotive background is preferred
- Strong teamwork skills
- WA state driver's license is required
- Clean & Clear WA state driving record is required
- Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen is required
