Casa Pacifica is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor II CBS Near Camarillo, CA

Wage band range $72,0000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. However, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.Under the direction of the TBS Program Manager, is responsible for planning and supervising one-to-one therapeutic contact with community-based children referred to Casa Pacifica through Ventura County Behavioral Health or Santa Barbara MISC. The Clinical Supervisor II carries out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it relates to individualized behavioral interventions as needed at a child's home, school, or other community setting.
CREDENTIALS: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrated By Typical Activities)
  • Maintains clinical oversight of TBS program.
  • Provides supervision and support of individual TBS specialists.
  • Provides training opportunities for TBS employees as needed.
  • Completes staff evaluations in conjunction with the TBS Program Manager and TBS Program Lead.
  • Attends initial treatment team meetings and develops TBS treatment plan for each client referred to TBS.
  • Attends an observation and assessment visit with staff within 2 weeks of the initial TBS initial meeting.
  • Attends monthly review meetings with TBS staff, as needed, to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Reviews all TBS provider progress notes, providing feedback as necessary. Ensures documentation is completed in a timely manner by turning in approved notes within 48 hours of the note deadline.
  • Completes clinical supervisory documentation and notes in a timely manner consistent with deadline for other TBS staff.
  • Assists TBS Specialists in Functional Assessment Development and incorporates Evidence Based Practices (EBP) when appropriate (i.e. ABA, CBT, DBT, etc...).
  • Conducts quarterly and discharge chart reviews and provides follow-up to ensure that all required elements of documentation are included in the chart.
  • Participates in annual EPSDT audits.
  • Attends regularly scheduled supervision with their Program Manager and Supervision of Supervisors meeting with the Community Services Assistant Director.
  • On-call evenings and weekends during all TBS scheduled appointments.
  • Maintains their clinical license in good standing with their respective licensing board and completes required CEUs and training appropriate to the practice of clinical supervision.
  • Oversees all staff and adheres to the legal and ethical requirements of the mental health profession (including clinically appropriate boundaries) as outlined in the code of ethics and as deemed necessary by the agency.
  • Continue to develop the program to exceed standards of practice, including the fostering of a supervisory team at the leadership level.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters within the organization with respect to personnel, operations and children.
  • Participates in the on-call system of taking one weekend per quarter to be on-call 24 hours a day (or less).
  • May perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Licensed Masters or Doctoral Level Clinician with five to seven years’ experience preferable but not required working with severely emotionally disturbed youths. For Doctoral level a minimum of 2 years post licensure supervisory experience as licensed psychologist.
CREDENTIALS: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist. Must be eligible for licensure in California.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use various computer software. Knowledge of Title 22, Division licensing requirements. Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Strong human relations skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
