Cascadian Landscapers is Hiring a Maintenance Manager Near Cornelius, OR

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities/Activities:

1) Develop strong positive relationships with customer upon clear and frequent communication, mutual trust, and ability to meet the customer needs. Develop a win-win opportunity for the customer and company

2)Proactively manager project by inspecting and locating problems before the customer bring it to our attention, then communicate issues to customer while advising on a resolution within the customer's needs and budget.

3) Frequent, effective, professional, and timely communication with customers.

4)Monitors crew activity and works closely with Foremen/Superintendent regarding scheduling, quality, and customer service. Assure all contract work provided is of good quality and completed in a timely fashion. Communicate with appropriate parities any problem areas and work to find immediate resolution.

5)Maintain job costs and assist in meeting profitability goals.

6) Immediately reports to Management any deviation from budgets of time, schedule, cost, or any other factor so that appropriate adjustments can be made to maximize result.

7)Make recommendation regarding qualifying or disqualifying warranty work. Coordinates completion of warranty work per contract and/ or instructions to Management.

8) Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, shop, field offices and customer work-sites.

9)Prepare and presents proposal in complete and professional manner, according to company standards. Follows-up on bids and office value engineering solutions to customers.

10) Ensures all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to customer.

11) Responds to all inquiries and requests for bid in a timely manner.

12) Works closely with administrative staff to make sure all contract administration is timely and accurate.

13) Is aware of billing and collection status on all projects/customers.

14) Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

1) At Lest 2-3 years’ experience in the landscape/maintenance industry, preferable as an account manager

2) Hands on approach to task management

3) Be able to step in and immediately take over accounts

4) Clean driver record

5) Competent in Excel, Micro Soft Word, and Outlook

6) Other tasks

Preferred:

1) Must maintain regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work over-time, holidays, evenings, or weekends as necessary

2) Extensive driving around the Portland Metro Area

3) Must be capable of working outdoors and visiting job sites on a regular basis

4) Must maintain a current valid driver's license

5) Bilingual Spanish/English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,900.15 - $66,116.31 per year
