- Casella Construction, Inc.** ** Office Assistant / Scale Attendant** Mendon, VT 05701 Casella Construction is seeking to add an Temporary Administrative Office Assistant / Scale Attendant to our team in Mendon, VT. for a period of 6 months. This position will work with customers purchasing Aggregate (crushed stone, sandetc.) which includes reading the scales and preparing bills plus perform various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, great communication skills and be detail oriented. This position is from Tuesday- Friday, 8am 5pm and Saturday from 6:45am 12pm Responsibilities:
- Greet customers (predominantly phone based) and manage scales for a busy aggregate operation.
- Answer corporate main phone line.
- Process outgoing mail and postage.
- Accounting support and data entry for basic accounting functions (payroll time keeping and accounts payable)
- Manage email correspondence through digital channels.
- Track and order office supplies. Requirements:
- 2 years experience in office environment preferred.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 360 software (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
- Strong computer skills
- Able to sit and stand for 8 hours a day, some occasional lifting of office products.
