CashmanCo., a b2b PR & communications agency, is seeking an Account Executive with 3-4 years of experience to support its current and growing client roster which works across industries like tech, advertising, design, and more. An ideal candidate will have previous experience pitching media, managing multiple accounts, and possess a desire to grow with the company as we continue to scale.

Media Relations:

• Build press strategies across emerging tech and marketing services businesses, and executive visibility clients
• Be comfortable proactively pitching media across accounts, finding natural news moments and identifying trends that resonate with press
• Conduct press outreach and secure top-tier media opportunities, including company/founder profiles, feature stories, and expert commentary
• Attend and facilitate media interviews/editor appointments
• Network with reporters and editors on an ongoing basis
• Lead, review, and provide feedback on press materials, inclusive of press releases, company/executive bios, fact sheets, media alerts, case studies, contributed articles, and more
• Generate and edit award submissions, speaking abstracts, press pitches, prep docs, etc.
• Read relevant consumer and trade media; report to the team and clients about industry news and reporter moves
• Support needs of the PR team with day-to-day tasks, such as assisting with research and press monitoring and reporting
• Create and maintain media, award, and event lists

Client Relations:

• Lead day-to-day client communications, relaying updates and needs across assigned accounts and responding to client inbounds
• Set agendas and run recurring status calls with clients
• Manage and share client-facing roadmaps, timelines and shared results trackers
• Track and analyze strategy/project efficacy and present results to clients

Qualifications/Experience:

• Must have 3-4 years of work experience in B2B and / or tech PR
• Must be comfortable speaking to and managing press relationships, and have solid B2B and / or tech media relations experience
• Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to adhere to tight deadlines
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
• Skilled in PR tools such as Meltwater, Cision and Muck Rack, or ability to learn quickly
• Must be proactive with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative yet fast-paced environment
